EXPERIMENT 02 / PRIVACY FIRST
Remove Image Metadata.
Re-encode a photo locally to strip common metadata such as EXIF and GPS tags.
Drop a file here, or choose oneProcessed in your browser. This service does not upload file contents.
Select a file to begin.
What this tool does
Export a new JPEG or PNG; re-encoding may change quality and does not guarantee anonymity.
Practical example
Example: choose a JPEG with camera tags and export a newly encoded PNG.
Known limitations
Re-encoding strips many common EXIF tags but may change color, orientation or quality and is not full anonymity.
Privacy and limitations
Your file is processed in this browser tab. Do not assume that deleting metadata removes visible watermarks, server-side copies, or all possible identifying information. Image conversions re-encode pixels and may change visual quality. Inspect your downloaded output before sharing. If any extension or conversion format is unsupported, the tool reports it instead of silently uploading your file.
